This pillar addresses accessibility, affordability and quality in health services, particularly in rural and underserved areas. Its priorities are healthcare facilities, the training and retention of health professionals, preventative care, maternal and child health, and community wellness.
A practical, skills-based approach to economic participation, particularly for young people and women. Its priorities are vocational training, mentorship, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and access to capital and markets through partnerships.
Development should not come at the expense of ecological integrity. Its priorities are climate-resilient farming, renewable energy, waste reduction, the protection of critical ecosystems, and local knowledge that supports environmental stewardship.
